We accept returns and issue refunds for certain products that are returned to us in an unused and re-saleable condition within 15 days of receipt. Your item will be inspected upon return. Shipping is at the cost of the buyer. Note that some products, including custom products, antique or vintage items, and fine art are not eligible for return.
Please note that returns or exchanges are not accepted for special orders and other items listed below:
Customized orders are submitted for production immediately upon order placement and are built to your specifications. A non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when the order is placed; the remaining 50% will be charged when your order ships. If you choose to cancel your customized order item(s) prior to delivery, your 50% deposit will not be refunded.
Once delivered, customized order returns or exchanges due to customer preference or any other reason cannot be accepted.
Stocked Non-Furniture and Furniture Items
We accept returns for stocked non-furniture and furniture items within 15 days, with proof of purchase, in re-salable condition. A refund may be issued for the original amount, less shipping fees and 50% restocking fee.
Monogrammed/Personalized/Special Order Design items
These items are special order and are non-cancelable, non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Antique & Vintage items
Antique items, as well as any vintage items, are considered final-sale, as-is items and cannot be returned. For all orders that are canceled prior to items shipping, no delivery fee will be charged. Should you decide to cancel a return and keep the item after a refund was issued, we will charge your credit card in the amount of the refund issued. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with applicable laws. Delivery fees are non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or transit damage.
Fine art items are considered final-sale, as-is items and cannot be returned. For all orders that are canceled prior to items shipping, no delivery fee will be charged.
Unauthorized returns will be refused at the customer expense without the prior written consent from the Client Services. Any claims for returns or credits will be handled by our Client Services on a case by case basis upon receipt of complete and bona-fide documentation on the nature of the claim/defect. Claims in regards to manufacturing defects must be submitted within 7-days of receipt of the goods, along with detailed photos of the damaged/defective item, together with full details of the issue in question. Unless stated in writing, all furnishings are designed for non-commercial domestic purpose only, unless otherwise stated in official Galerie Avant-Garde writings or Galerie Avant-Garde printed matter.
